NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS — Anthropic is expanding its artificial-intelligence infrastructure footprint in the United States with a reported $35 billion cloud-computing agreement involving Nvidia-backed Lambda.

The agreement covers computing capacity at a planned Texas data center with approximately 350 megawatts of capacity. The facility is being developed by Hut 8, a company that has shifted from cryptocurrency mining toward AI data-center infrastructure.
