NASA Shuts Down Kim Kardashian’s Moon-Landing Conspiracy Talk

NASA isn’t here for Kim Kardashian’s Moon-landing doubts. The reality star suggested that the 1969 Moon landing was staged. On The Kardashians, she told Sarah Paulson she thinks the Apollo 11 mission “didn’t happen,” citing misinterpreted Buzz Aldrin clips.

NASA’s acting administrator Sean Duffy shut it down fast, posting: “Yes, we’ve been to the Moon before… six times!” He also reminded everyone the agency is gearing up for Artemis — aka the comeback tour to the lunar surface.

Kardashian repeated her claim, saying she has seen videos of Aldrin admitting the Moon landing was faked. Those clips have been thoroughly debunked, and Aldrin has not responded, likely because he has little interest in revisiting a conspiracy from the 1960s.

After the episode aired, Kardashian shifted topics and asked about the space object 3I/Atlas on X. Duffy answered by inviting her to the Artemis launch, a polite way of suggesting that watching rockets leave Earth in person is more convincing than internet speculation.
